THE ACADEMY:
DIKSHA ACADEM'C KHARUPETIA is a Co-Educational Secondary with Jr. College of Arts, established on 5th January 2013, located at Janata Nagar, Nageswar, Kharupetia in the districtof Darrang (Assam). The Academy is committed to provide quality education at Secondary and Higher Secondary level at an affordable cost, with an objective on excellent foundation of academic excellence.

COURSE OFFERED:
The Academy offers Higher Secondary Course, Arts Stream under Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) and Secondary Course under Secondary Education Board ofAssam (SEGA).

MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION :
Medium of Instruction is both Assamese and English.

DIKSHA ACADEMY

TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Individual care will be taken for each student to remove the deficiencies and improvise their performance. Remedial measures will be taken if necessary.

MONITORING AND REVIEW OF PROGRESS

Regular internal evaluation and periodical examinations will be held for future improvement. Assessment of performance of students both in scholastic as well as co-scholastic areas will be done periodically as a part of continuous comprehensive evaluation. Students' progress of study will be continuously evaluated through unit tests, home assignments, participation in seminars, etc.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

For Physical and intellectual development of young students Diksha Academy, Kharupetia will offer facilities for sports, seminars, cultural programs, group discussions etc. from time to time.

LIBRARY

Diksha Academy, Kharupetia has a well equipped library with a reading room. Besides, text books, reference books on various subjects, news papers and educational magazines are made available in the library.

EDUCATIONAL TOUR

Educational tour is organized time to time among the students and teachers. Each and every student participates in the programme.

GUARDIAN MEETING

Guardian Meeting is held in every three months and the progress ofstudents is apprised to the guardians in due course oftime.

GUEST LECTURER:

The academy provides good teachers and prominent educationists as guest lecturer from time to time.

SPOKEN ENGLISH

Fluency in English is must for success in professional life. Keeping in view the same, the Academy arranges Spoken English classes for the benefit of the students.

HOSTEL FACI LITY

Hostel facilities are available for both Girls and Boys. (intake capacity:40 Per Hostel).
